Steven Benardete, resident of Amenia since 1999. Retired financial services industry professional. Serves on the Board of Directors of the Dutchess Land Conservancy and the Foundation for Community Health. [term exp. 2010]
Andy Durbridge, resident of Amenia since 2000. Garden designer and consultant. Former Director of Horticulture at Old Westbury Gardens. Member of Town of Amenia Enhancement Committee and Indian Rock Schoolhouse board. [term exp. 2010]
Susan Gregory, resident of Amenia since 1999. Manager of an equine veterinary practice in Millbrook. Member of Affordable Housing Committee and Amenia Fish and Game Club. [term exp. 2010]
Alison Hale was born in New Bedford, Ma. in 1935. She grew up at The Millbrook School, where her father was head of the History Department; graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Occupational Therapy in 1956; and received an M.Ed. from Institute Open Education (Antioch) in 1979. Alison and her husband, Nathan, moved to Sheffield Rd in Amenia in 1971 (Old Sheffield Milk Factory). She retired from Wassaic DDSO in 1993. Charlotte Murphy, lifetime resident of Amenia. Retired bank teller, married to a dairy farmer for 55 years. Seven children, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Member of the Ethics Committee. [term exp. 2009]
Harold Noah, resident of Amenia since 1969. Economist. Retired professor and dean, Teachers College, Columbia University. Author of numerous scholarly books. Four children, six grandchildren. [term exp. 2009]
Betsy Park, resident of Amenia since 1965. Employed by the Millbrook Hunt as huntsman from 1978-2004, now retired. Two daughters, six grandchildren. Interests continue to be hounds and hunting, and enjoying our now 42-year-old organic garden! [term exp. 2009]
Darlene Riemer, resident of Amenia since 1967. Registered Architect since 1992, office located in Amenia. Member of CPIC, designed Fountain Square. Two children, three granddaughters. [term exp. 2010]
Betty Rooney, resident of Amenia since 1955. Former manager of medical office (1966-79); former VP of Busy Bee Products (1984-89) and office manager of Dedrick & Son Insurance Agency in Amenia (1979-84). Currently chairman of Affordable Housing Committee, Town of Amenia. Married; five children, ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. [term exp. 2008]
